ਪੀ.ਪੀ.ਸੀ.ਬੀ. ਵੱਲੋਂ ਐਸ.ਜੀ.ਪੀ.ਸੀ. ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਸਫਲਤਾਪੂਰਵਕ ਚਲਾਈ ਗਈ- ‘ਪਲਾਸਟਿਕ-ਮੁਕਤ ਹੋਲਾ ਮਹੱਲਾ’ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ

ਸਿੱਖ ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੇ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ‘ਹੋਲਾ ਮਹੱਲਾ’ ਦੀ ਪਵਿੱਤਰਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਣ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁੱਧਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਬਰਕਰਾਰ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪ੍ਰਦੂਸ਼ਣ ਰੋਕਥਾਮ ਬੋਰਡ (ਪੀ.ਪੀ.ਸੀ.ਬੀ.) ਨੇ ਇਸ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਨੂੰ ਪਲਾਸਟਿਕ ਮੁਕਤ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਸਫਲਤਾਪੂਰਵਰਕ ਚਲਾਈ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਤਹਿਤ ਪੀ.ਪੀ.ਸੀ.ਬੀ.ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡੀ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਣ-ਪੱਖੀ ਪਹਿਲਕਦਮੀ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਆਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਕਮੇਟੀਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਚਲਾਏ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਲੰਗਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਾਇਓਡੀਗ੍ਰੇਡੇਬਲ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਪੋਸਟੇਬਲ ਡਿਸਪੋਜ਼ੇਬਲ ਵਸਤੂਆਂ ਮੁਫ਼ਤ ਮੁਹੱਈਆ ਕਰਵਾਈਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ।

ਇਸ ਬਾਬਤ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਬੁਲਾਰੇ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਦਾ ਰਸਮੀ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ 1 ਮਾਰਚ 2026 ਨੂੰ ਪੀ.ਪੀ.ਸੀ.ਬੀ. ਦੀ ਚੇਅਰਪਰਸਨ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਰੀਨਾ ਗੁਪਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਲਵਨੀਤ ਦੂਬੇ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਵਫ਼ਦ ਨੇ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਅਤੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕੇਸਗੜ੍ਹ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਕੁਲਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਗੜਗੱਜ ਨਾਲ ਮੁਲਾਕਾਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਇਸ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਦਾ ਆਗਾਜ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਨੂੰ ਚਲਾਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮੁੱਢਲੀਆਂ ਤਿਆਰੀਆਂ ਹਫਤੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ। ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੰਗਰ ਕਮੇਟੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਕਰਨਾ, ਲੋੜਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੁਲਾਂਕਣ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਨਾਲ ਤਾਲਮੇਲ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸੀ।

ਬੁਲਾਰੇ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਵਿਸੇਸ਼ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਈਕੋ-ਫਰੈਂਡਲੀ ਬੁਨਿਆਦੀ ਢਾਂਚੇ ਦਾ ਵਿਸਥਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਤੇ ਧਿਆਨ ਕੇਂਦਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਜਿਸ ਤਹਿਤ ਸਿੰਗਲ-ਯੂਜ਼ ਪਲਾਸਟਿਕ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਣ ਲਈ, ਪੀ.ਪੀ.ਸੀ.ਬੀ. 20 ਲੱਖ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਉੱਚ-ਗੁਣਵੱਤਾ ਵਾਲੇ ਬਾਇਓਡੀਗ੍ਰੇਡੇਬਲ ਬਦਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਈ। ਹੋਲੇ ਮਹੱਲੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ 7 ਲੱਖ ਬਾਇਓਡੀਗ੍ਰੇਡੇਬਲ ਪਲਾਸਟਿਕ ਕੱਪ, 6.5 ਲੱਖ ਬਾਇਓਡੀਗ੍ਰੇਡੇਬਲ ਚਮਚੇ, 2.5 ਲੱਖ ਪਲੇਟਾਂ, 5 ਲੱਖ ਬਾਇਓਡੀਗ੍ਰੇਡੇਬਲ ਕੌਲੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਸਮਾਨ, 5,000 ਬਾਇਓਡੀਗ੍ਰੇਡੇਬਲ ਕੂੜਾ ਕਰਕਟ ਵਾਲੇ ਬੈਗ, 30,000 ਬਾਇਓਡੀਗ੍ਰੇਡੇਬਲ ਕੈਰੀ ਬੈਗ (ਕੜਾਹ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਦ ਲਈ) ਦੀ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਲੰਗਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ।

ਬੁਲਾਰੇ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਵਡਕਾਰੀ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਮੀਨੀ ਪੱਧਰ ‘ਤੇ ਚਲਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਪੀ.ਪੀ.ਸੀ.ਬੀ. ਦੀਆਂ 20 ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵੱਡੇ ਪੱਧਰ ਤੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਹ ਕਾਰਜ 27 ਫਰਵਰੀ, 2026 ਤੋਂ 4 ਮਾਰਚ, 2026 ਤੱਕ ਪੂਰੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਸ਼ੋਰ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪ੍ਰਦੂਸ਼ਣ ਕੰਟਰੋਲ ਬੋਰਡ ਦੇ ਚੇਅਰਪਰਸਨ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਰੀਨਾ ਗੁਪਤਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ “ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦਾ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ‘ਪਵਣੁ ਗੁਰੂ ਪਾਣੀ ਪਿਤਾ, ਮਾਤਾ ਧਰਤਿ ਮਹਤੁ’ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਕੁਦਰਤੀ ਸਰੋਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪ੍ਰਦੂਸ਼ਣ ਕੰਟਰੋਲ ਬੋਰਡ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਹੋਲਾ ਮਹੱਲੇ ਦੇ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਪਲਾਸਟਿਕ ਪ੍ਰਦੂਸ਼ਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਵਧੀਆ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਉਪਰਾਲਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ।
