ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਮੱਧ ਪੂਰਬ ਦੇ ਕੁਝ ਹਿੱਸਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਧ ਰਹੇ ਤਣਾਅ ਕਾਰਨ ਉੱਥੇ ਫਸੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਲਈ ਦਿਨ-ਰਾਤ ਕਾਰਜਸ਼ੀਲ ਹੈਲਪਲਾਈਨ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੀੜਤ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਲਈ 0172 2260042, 0172 2260043 ‘ਤੇ ਕਾਲ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ ਜਾਂ ਵਟਸਅੱਪ ਨੰ. +91 94787 79112 ‘ਤੇ ਮੈਸੇਜ ਭੇਜ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸੂਬਾ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਅਤੇ ਜਲਦ ਵਾਪਸੀ ਨੂੰ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਲਈ ਹਰ ਸੰਭਵ ਯਤਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ।
ਮੱਧ ਪੂਰਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੰਗ ਕਾਰਨ ਫਸੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਪੀੜਤ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਨ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਦਾ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਸੂਬਾ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਫਸੇ ਹੋਏ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਅਤੇ ਜਲਦ ਵਾਪਸੀ ਨੂੰ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਅਰਬ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਣਾਅ ਕਾਰਨ ਇੱਥੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਹੈਲਪਲਾਈਨ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਜਾਂ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਸਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੰਬਰਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਕਾਲ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ।”
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੁਸੀਬਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਸੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀ ਮਦਦ ਦਾ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਹੈਲਪਲਾਈਨ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਟਰੋਲ ਰੂਮ ਸਥਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਦਿਨ-ਰਾਤ ਕਾਰਜਸ਼ੀਲ ਰਹੇਗਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਜੇਕਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਕਿਸਮ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਲੋਕ 0172 2260042 ਅਤੇ 0172 2260043 ‘ਤੇ ਕਾਲ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ ਜਾਂ +91 94787 79112 ‘ਤੇ ਵਟਸਅੱਪ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਮੈਸੇਜ ਭੇਜ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ।”
ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਵਚਨਬੱਧਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਦੁਹਰਾਉਂਦਿਆ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਅਸੀਂ ਫਸੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਲਦ ਤੋਂ ਜਲਦ ਹਰ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਵਚਨਬੱਧ ਹਾਂ।” ਖਾੜੀ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਸੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਇਕਜੁੱਟਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਸੂਬਾ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਇਸ ਸੰਕਟ ਦੀ ਘੜੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੋਢੇ ਨਾਲ ਮੋਢਾ ਜੋੜ ਕੇ ਖੜ੍ਹੀ ਹੈ।”
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਮੱਧ ਪੂਰਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਸੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਵਾਪਸੀ ਲਈ ਤਰੁੰਤ ਦਖਲ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਸ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਈ ਕਿ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਜੰਗ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਖਾੜੀ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਸੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਲਈ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਲੋੜੀਂਦੇ ਕਦਮ ਚੁੱਕੇਗੀ।
